Water Blade Water Feature

MN landscapes were tasked with installing a modern self-contained water feature, to break the height of a narrow vertical wall. A simple water blade was install, with led lights giving sound and movement to the garden. Exiting tiles were trimmed to size and laid around the reservoir pool. The pool would be complemented by the client who later used vertical planting to show off the feature to maximum effect.

Commercial Turfing

Commercial Turfing for Notcutts in Woodbridge. The area was cleared and then new top soil brought in and levelled before fresh turf was laid over the entire area.

Garden Transformation

We were commissioned with the transformation of an overgrown garden and dangerous patio into a safe family garden. The existing patio was lifted and all base works removed, as was the small wildlife pond with it crumbling sides. The existing paving was cleaned and re-laid onto new base works and a solid bed of mortar. The main garden was cleared, including wild brambles general over growth and finally bamboo which was starting to march across the garden. Once cleared and the children's play house moved to open the view of the garden it was cultivated and prepared ready for turfing. MN Landscapes laid Norfolk grown quality turf working from deals for a seamless finish. Planting borders were created around the house and a gravel pathway to maximise the reusable paving, leaving a safe family garden.

Wheelchair Friendly Accessible Garden

Tasked with converting this rural garden into an accessible garden suitable for wheelchair access we worked from existing landscape plans, we removed the existing walling and paving which was too low for easy access into the house. The garden was sculptured ensuring all slopes allowed ease of access and movability. Under the main gravel pathway a cellular grid system was installed and filled with stone, this gave a hard finish to the pathways which allowed no sink to the wheel chairs. The patio area was increased for space and manoeuvrability, enabling the clients ample room to enjoy outdoor space with their friends and family. Around the feature tree in the garden we continued with the cellular system and created a loop, to match the crown of the tree. We finished the garden with new lawns and a small wildlife pond leaving the planting for the clients and their friends.

Raised Vegetable Beds

Construction of a new vegetable plot with raised vegetable beds built using Oak Sleepers and pegs with gravel paths inbetween laid over weed control membrane.

Pleached Photinia Red Robin Trees

Pleached trees create an instant screen and Photinia Red Robin provides a dense evergreen hedge and the new spring foilage is a bright red which fades to dark glossy green throughout the year. The ivory white flowers in late spring constrast wonderfully with the foilage blocking the view of properties beyond. At the same time as planting the trees we created a new shrub border around the patio.

Commercial Landscaping Norwich

We have been busy at McDonalds Broadland at the main Roundabout on the A47 in Brundall. New fencing has been installed together with no parking signs to discourage diners from parking on the verge against the road and a new instant hedge has been planted to screen the restaurant from the main A47 road.

Regular Garden Maintenance

Regular Garden Maintenance keeps this front lawn in prime condition and combined with maintaining the borders and regular clipping of the hedge keeps the property frontage looking neat and tidy.

Tree Planting

Semi Mature tree planting. We created a wind break of semi mature tree around the corner of this field. The curve of the shelterbelt followed the field edge providing additional cover. All trees were staked and saplings protected with tree guards.

Wildflower Meadow

In preparation of a garden wedding reception held at this country home in Norfolk we cultivated and seeded an annual wildflower mix. Work was timed so the flower meadow was in full bloom in time for the wedding and provided the perfect backdrop for the wedding photographs.

Tree Lined Driveway

Creating a avenue of semi mature trees leading up to a country estate in Kimberley, Norfolk we planted Hornbeam trees standing between 18 and 20 feet tall. Planting followed the sweep of the driveway at measured intervals.

Leylandii Hedge Removal

An overgrown leylandii hedge was blocking all of the light from this bungalow and obstructed the driveway. Stripping all of the trees the frontage was cleared opening up the drive and allowing in the light.

Mature Tree Screening

A mature Golden Leylandii (3.5-4m) was planted to block out an overlooking upstairs window and a corner copse of Hornbeam and a specimen Beech tree were planted to obscure a second building development.

Norwich Garden Design

Garden design for a Norwich town centre house. Stripping away the old worn turf before creating new structure with sleepers, paving and feature patio. New topsoil was then brought in to lay the new turfed lawn and for the new planting beds.

The completed Norwich Garden design has paved areas, patio and decking with a defined lawn and raised beds. New planting of pleached lime trees provide privacy and feature silver birch planting add height and shade during the summer months. Tiered planting throughout with shaped laurel, etc and etc will bring colour and fragrance whilst being easy to maintain.

Artificial Turf

Our latest installation of easigrass illustrates its flexibility as the ideal low maintenance grassing solution. The sweeping curves cut into the new artificial turf has allowed new borders to be cut in with feature planting added to bring all year round colour.

Front Garden Redesign

Complete redesign of a new front garden with sweeping lawn, inset flower beds with feature brick edging and a range of planting from bushes, shrubs and a semi-mature tree to balance the existing ash tree.

Decking and Artificial Lawn

Redesign of this back garden replanted existing shrubs and herbaceous, combined with new decking area and Easigrass^TM artificial turf to create a low maintenance garden which can be enjoyed all year round.

Instant Hedge Planting

Planting a new hornbeam instant hedge replaced the existing worn willow panels. Hornbeam provides a semi evergreen dense hedge which maintains its leaves during most of the winter. Using 5 year old plants gives a height of nearly 2 metres providing an effective natural screen.
